Up here in Massachusetts it never gets hot. It only got up to 91 today. Humitidy around 70%.

It's a nice 84 outside right now. 82 in the house. No A/C here, just the fans. I'm waiting for the outside temp to drop below the inside temp so I can open the windows, turn on the fans and change the air.

It's supposed to be in the mid 90's for the next few days. Humidity in the mid 70% range. I think three or four days in the 90's is a heat wave?

In a couple months people around here will be complaining it's cold. I'm making the best of what we've got now.

3:42p, and it's about 97...probably will hit 100 in a hour or so. Humidity is low, and thank goodness for our delta breezes. Marine layer off the coast sets up a draw of air into the valley and cools us off nice each night (well, most nights)...

Moving into the shade here, just means the suns not shining right on you any more, you're still hot as hale though...

I'll take 115 in Phoenix over 95 in Dallas, any day.
Now hold on a minute. Friends of ours moved to Dallas about 7 years ago. They say that the Dallas heat is a heck of a lot more bearable than the Jersey heat because it's a dry heat. What's the humidity out there?

It was 100 degrees in North Dakota today and like 98 in Denver. Now they have reason to complain.

I think it got up to 94-95F range here, but it sure did feel more like 105F due to the humidity. I spent my comp day off at the church working on some media stuff, and I didn't stop sweating after I walked outside to the truck for lunch and some errands until sometime later this evening.

A few years ago, my former company sent to to Detroit for training in June, and the weather there was around 70F during the day and 50F or less at night. As soon as I landed at Jackson International Airport, I thought that I was going to die due to the humidity and temperature difference because it was around 85F that day. It was humid down here because it was raining everyday that week I was gone.

I can't believe the cost of electricity for you guys, that's insane! I'm pretty happy with our weather here, been around 90° (give or take) for the past month or so but our humidity is low here. I run fans during the day but it cools off to the mid 50's at night so that keeps the house from staying hot. My electric bill last month was $56.

Gotta love TXU. $348 here same timeframe. 3 br house. If we didn't set the thermostat to 83 every day it'd be alot higher. I love summertime electricity bills!

Ya'll need to come to Alabama in July or August. 100 without factoring in the 90% humidity!
