I have seen you in action, and you do have a wealth of knowledge, you just choose not to show it. I have read a lot of your posts in the past 2 or 3 years I've been here.....Your a hoot, I'll give you that, but your vocabulary gives it away my friend.

 

Why is it considered a drug? I am not saying your wrong....maybe I am just not educated in the art of "drugs". I cant see it as a drug because it's natural....and IMO harmless.

I can understand that, but I am set in my ways when it comes to my question. Thank you both for educating me.

I still feel like it's not a "drug" because you don't have to "make" it or alter it...but I can understand why it's "considered" a drug by the definition UC posted.

When law enforcement busts marijuana dealers, they always place the street value at the highest end of the spectrum regardless of quality to make it sound more serious. I've seen some very ludicrous figures in this area, usually 10 times as much as the real value or even more.

In the case of marijuana, there exists a very low potential for abuse and it is not addictive. There would also be some question in regards to behavioral changes.

I'm curious though, why you didn't name alcohol, since it does affect the CNS, undeniably does cause behavioral changes and has both a high potential for abuse and it is physically addictive.
