Come on man.
I have seen you in action, and you do have a wealth of knowledge, you just choose not to show it. I have read a lot of your posts in the past 2 or 3 years I've been here.....Your a hoot, I'll give you that, but your vocabulary gives it away my friend.

Why is it considered a drug? I am not saying your wrong....maybe I am just not educated in the art of "drugs". I cant see it as a drug because it's natural....and IMO harmless.

"But officer, aren't you even going to take my vocabulary into account?"
"No? Well, can I least buy a vowel?"
"Did I mention I was smart?"
"It's documented in this thread, I printed it off"
"If you'll just let me reach into my back pocket..."

I still feel like it's not a "drug" because you don't have to "make" it or alter it...but I can understand why it's "considered" a drug by the definition UC posted.
Thanks again.
It's Friday, I aint got chit else to do, I'm gonna go home and watch FRIDAY now.

Ashlinger was the (future) nephew of Andrew Mellon. Mellon had strong ties to the timber and chemical industries, at the time the technology to cheaply process hemp products was coming to market, products that would offer cheaper alternatives to chemical and timber products. Mellon appointed Ashlinger.
Hearst was the one that started it though, he was pissed because Pancho took his land and blamed it on those dope smoking mexicans.
When law enforcement busts marijuana dealers, they always place the street value at the highest end of the spectrum regardless of quality to make it sound more serious. I've seen some very ludicrous figures in this area, usually 10 times as much as the real value or even more.

In the case of marijuana, there exists a very low potential for abuse and it is not addictive. There would also be some question in regards to behavioral changes.
I'm curious though, why you didn't name alcohol, since it does affect the CNS, undeniably does cause behavioral changes and has both a high potential for abuse and it is physically addictive.
