Kellie wasn't in the bottom three. I wonder if her dog will be in jail next week.

Melissa got the boot. No suprise, I liked her, but she was gonna go eventually anyway.

Bottom 3: Lisa Tucker, Ace Young, Mellisa.
Melissa I'm not suprised about, nor am I about Ace. I thought Lisa did really well, and is one of the better performers. Kevin sucks wish he'd drop. Kelly, well.... The things I'd like to say about her would make a trucker blush. That being said I don't think she's got the best voice, but cute, decent voice, and likeability will take her very far.

I was very surprised Ace was there. He didn't do that great this week, but I thought for sure he had the fan folowing. I agree with you about Mellissa. She would eventually be gone anyway. But KEVIN!!!!!! That just pi$$es me off. He shouldn't be there in the first place. I'm rooting for my man Chris. He is by far the best there is.

whos better at Judging? The US judges or the Canada Judges?? anyone compare to Simon??
I know there are some pretty talented people on the show, and they search for them across the entire country, but I only catch glimpses of the TV on my way to the fridge to grab a beer! Like I said< "I can't stand watching
it" As for the judges, they are probably famous in their own rite but I'm
not familiar with their personalities.
You could probably find out more by searching "Canadian Idol"

I thought many of this week's performances were bad. Maybe it was the Stevie Wonder material. The guy is massively over-rated, IMO.

Kelly was especially bad. Her voice was poor. She could not walk in those heels and was even more 'golly shucks' than usual in her interview (she may be 'playing dumb'). But she seems to have fans and I think she will be around for awhile (top 6). I think she has a gread body, not such a fan of her face, but her look seems to get her votes.

Ace sucks. Can't stand him. Over-rated. Would love to see him go, but I was surprised he was in the bottom 3 because I though he had fans. Like Simon said, this will be a wake up call to him and his fans. Unfortunately, he will be around for awhile (top 8 at least)

Mandisa - She's a good singer. I thought she screamed too much and I did not enjoy her performance this week. But she is talented enough to stick around. Top 6.

Lisa - I think she's great, but she does not appear to have the fan base. The song was a little repetitive. If she performs up to her potential, I think she can contend for the title, but she's gotta find some fans. I wish top 4 for her, but I think she will be lucky to make top 8.

Paris - This was one of her best performances, but overall she irritates me. I like Lisa much better, but America seems to disagree. Top 8.

Taylor - I enjoy watching him and he's got some talent. He will be top 4 for sure.

Chris - Top 4 for sure. I think he's excellent.

Elliot - Like his smooth voice, but he's boring and will not get votes based on his looks. Should make at least top 6 due to his superior voice, but might only get to 8th or so.

Kevin - I enjoy the comic relief and he has a moderately good voice. Seems like a smart kid, but I want him gone. He will go soon, within 2 weeks.

Bucky - dark horse candidate to go far. Gravelly voice, the ladies seem to like him despite his jacked teeth. He picked a good song for him this week. One bad performance and he will be gone. I think he will go within 3 weeks, to the dissapointment of many.

Katherine McPhee - I think she might win. She is beautiful and has a good voice. But she acts like a spaz when she's not singing, which might be a turn off to anyone over age 12. Top 6 for sure, probably top 4.

All in all, I hope next week's show is better. I thought this episode sucked.

Hit the nail on the head there. When I heard Stevie Wonder I had flashbacks of all the other bad attempts at his songs so far this season. He's made some great accomplishments being a blind person and all and he may have written some good songs. Overall he is not one of the greatest musical artists of all time IMO. The whole show was pretty similar to the Burt Bacharat episode they did a while back. What's next? Lawrence Welk?

Ok, said my piece.

I have a feeling this will be a tough one for Chris. Now for Taylor Hicks, this is right up his alley. I am rooting for Chris to win for sure. I like his voice, style of music, and he is one hellova performer.

My 2

Yeah, it'll probably be taylors night. There are some good 50's songs that I think chris could pull off, hopefully he finds one. I think elvis did some good stuff in the late 50's

I was originally thinking Elvis too for Chris, but Chris has that raspy rock voice. Like you said, I hope he finds something that fits his style.
