Top 3 QBs of All time

With baseball ending shortly (Thankfully - Orioles fan) and football ramping up (Thankfully - Ravens fan) I figured I'd get everyone's .02.

So who are you're top 3 Qbs of all time.

For me and it is tough...

3. Troy Aikman - This spot is tough for me as I've got about 5 guys that could go here. As a Cowboy fan I gave him the nod.

2. Johnny Unitas - Want to give him #1 cause he is my hometown fav but.

1. Joe Montana - I was a Cowboys fan before the Ravens came to town but wow I loved watching him play. Young can't touch him.

That would be for me :
1: Johnny Unitas
2: Joe Montana
3: a tie with soon too be greatness on record .. Tom Brady / Peyton Manning

In reality the list is hard to complete after Unitas and Montana, there's way
too many great ones too list fairly ...
Elway, Aikman, Marino, Farve etc.etc.etc. ...

LMAO, ddwello.

You kind of have to define the critera for "greatest"...

Greatest overall career?

or

Best QB if you have one game you have to win and the QB is at the peak of their powers?

I think Montana and Elway are in my top 3 no matter what. Elway took awhile to hit his stride, but at his best he was awesome.

I grew up a Unitas fan and he's a sentimental pick, but I've got to say Peyton Manning is better than Johnny U.

Aikman was a great player, but top 3 QBs of all time? No way. Steve Young and Dan Marino, among others, were better than Troy.

Aikman was the quintessential example of being in the right place at the right time!

I agree that Elway is a tool, but so is Aikman. Can anyone say, concussion? I know it's the line that got him sacked, but HE was the team.
