And to be fair, men are just as bad/complicated. The only difference is food and sex appeases us 99.9% of the time.

 

Once she asked for the hug, it was all over, that is the most clear sign you are likely to get that you are on the wrong ladder. It's equivalent to "I like you as a friend..."

 

Question...

You ask a bunch of guys talking about trucks on the internet to explain women. You are kidding me, right? If we understood women that well we would be in a bus full of neked supermodels, not surfing the internet talking about trucks. Don't get me wrong, I spend plenty of time here myself but this is not the first place I would look for info like that. Also, nobody understands women, they don't understand themselves.

That being said, I have to concur with the general consensus. You are screwed, but not going to screw. You are stuck in the "Friend Zone" that inescapable whirlpool that sucks in everybody at least once. Best bet is to go on and find another girl to chase. You have already revealed your inner wussieness to this girl, and that my friend is chick repelant. Most women find a lack of confidence to be the biggest turnoff. By putting the ball in her court you showed that you lacked to confidence and that you desperatly wanted her. Sorry better luck next time.

Two weeks of flirting and you got her a card??? BAD!!

Obviously this girl feels ATTRACTED to you because of the returned flirting, talking, etc. But now is when you have to make her feel an ATTRACTION toward you. BIG difference in the two. Dont come on too strong. Sit back, let her know you have a life and that she would be "prvilaged" to hang out with you. Dont be too clingy. As soon as you show her you're a clingy wuss (ie cards, etc), she'll drop you like a bad habit. Once your dropped into the "friends" or "acquantiences" catagory, youll never come out. Dont make her feel as if you want her. Act as if she needs to chase you a little. Act a little ****y, funny, and confident around her...she'll eat it up!!
Girls are messed up man, ive dealt with plenty of them, and I still have a loooooooooong way to go just to figure out 1% of them!!

 

there is NO explination except its never the same from one day to the next....and another thing watch what you say....years from now you will be scratching your head because the only thing girls remenber is what you said no matter when you said it...and it will happen more than once trust me ...zap!

Your not totally lost dude. It is possiable to resurect yourself from friend status sometimes... I have even seen guys be resurected from the dreaded "Your like my brother." status
I've done it once, and only once! But don't ask me how.. I have no freaking idea how. It was nothing but shear luck...

theres a time window some girls know how to play out if she knows u really like her and have no other girls to go to she's gonna make u wait and just makes u more desperate and once she does call ur going to be either really excited or wondering wtf took u so long.. then she will likley have some silly excuse either i forgot lost the number or have been bussy... its all a game some know the rules others can only play along
