I guess here in Lost Angeles county we can no longer use MasterCard.
During the Academy Awards next month we can’t allow Master and Commander to win any awards.
Forget awarding Master’s Degrees at any university within the county.
This entire county is seriously funded by the entertainment industry. However, original tapes are called “Masters”. That ain’t gonna change so it looks like anything that is industry related will have to leave the county…

Dennis Tafoya, director of the affirmative action office, said in a separate memo that an "exhaustive search" had been undertaken to find all such labels and replace them with more "appropriate" ones.
Evidently the “Affirmative Action Office” has nothing better to do than waste time looking at labels on computers to see if they say master and slave….This tells me that this office should be closed down and everyone working in it fired as it is a waste of county tax money that could be better used in…say…SCHOOLS.
What happened to COMMON SENSE????

Well I'm glad I ordered my round ata100 cables with master/slave written on them before this whole thing came about.

I say it is time to close down ALL censorship organizations. Basically the majority of them are liberal based organizations like NAACP, anything to do with any kind of “Affirmative Action” type of activities, Rainbow Push etc. Also there should be NO federal monies allowed to fund the public schools since they, the public schools are another major organization of censorship.
I can see someone getting upset with a derogatory name such as the “N” word, but I do not recall anything being labeled with the “N” word. However I would note it is absolutely ok to throw the “N” word around anyway you wish since all the rappers have stated it is no longer a bad word but a good word, a word of love and affection.
If slave, master or what ever normal everyday word offends someone I say TOUGH CHIT, get over it or LEAVE and live somewhere else and push your socialist agenda. Yes I said they can leave America because it is obvious they are not happy here and there is a better place to live so great, tell them to pack their bags and get the hell out.
We do not need these people in America because they are for censorship, socialist values, dividing people and causing hate and discontent and thus they are human waste not worthy of being allowed to stay in a free society where EVERY ONE has the same chance of making something good of themselves.
These whinny *** little wuss bags of bird turd need to understand one thing and one thing only and that is the MAJORITY rule PERIOD. There is a vast MAJORITY of people who absolutely disagree with them and this MAJORITY includes every single race on earth.

I work for a public-non-profit org, and I sent a copy of the CNN article to my weenie boss, asking whether we had to go out to all the sites we support, open up each PC, and relabel the drives, cables, etc.
Haven't heard back from him yet, which makes me believe he's mulling it over.
How did I get trapped in a Dilbert comic strip?
God, this country is AFU'd.
