struts $100 and shocks $100 a pair depending on the brand it can be less but the Bilstein shocks are $97

so 650, plus alignment and camber kit. not too bad, but it adds up quickly. You really ought to do the shocks & struts while you have the truck torn down

remove the roof rack, what grill do you have? are your door handles the full replacement or the stick ons

fordfurious 08-04-2009 02:02 PM

what do you use to fill in the holes from the roof rack?

they are the stick on ones but i love them just the same, i got the entire putco kit.

just a billet grille but not the layover type. mine is direct bolted to the frame. if you took my front bumper off the grille would still be there.

expedition4x4 08-04-2009 02:20 PM

just put the screws back in

fordfurious 08-04-2009 04:18 PM

i did, i just dont like the 7 or 8 bumps on each side from the screw heads. i guess if i powdercoat them white it might not stick out so bad.

expedition4x4 08-04-2009 10:33 PM

just go to somewhere like pep boys and get that body molding thats suppose to go on the side on just use it to cover the holes

okay i read that KW Suspension coilovers can be used to lower the 03-06 Expeditions 2 Inches all around....

this guy used the Eibach Springs Lowering Kit on his 07 Limited EL not sure if he used the kit i was talking about in my first post

you can definitely notice a difference because the fender and tire gap is almost elminated, there is also the mcgaughys drop springs for 07+ Expys but it can only be used on 2WD

Is this kit available for 2009 Expedition 4x4's? If not, does anyone offer any modifications that will improve the handling of these trucks?
