that looks nice i thought it would almost eliminate the fender and wheel gap but guess not... is yours a 4x2? or 4x4? in person can you notice it sits lower?

Almost all the gap is gone, mine is a 4x4 - and IMO - it sits perfect now. Ride and handling are far better than stock also.

On the console - yes, from an 08 Nav, installed that last weekend after fabbing up some brackets.

On the Eibachs - 248 and did Bilstein shocks at same time as I'm at 100k - 350 for shocks, 300 for install on those, and then align and caster/camber adjusters and install was another 400 or so. A little more than I wanted to spend but the align is worth it with these tires. The drop is 1.8 front and 1.6 rear on the Eibach kit - with the new shocks I think it's a little less of a drop.

*and on edit, ride and handling.. far superior than stock, smoother driving yet firmer handling.

I had the Eibach springs on my 2003 for five years before I traded it on an F-150 late last year. I also installed Hellwig's sway bars. It handled quite well for 5,400 lb. SUV. If you go through the trouble of installing, it would be a wise move to upgrade to better struts at the same time.

It did have a slight rake, but when loaded it leveled out very nice. The spacing between tire and wheel well between front and rear without a load was pretty even. It wasn't a 4x4 and those tires were Michelin 255/70-18s that were take-offs from a Navigator, so it's only slightly taller than the stock 17s were. I couldn't get those Continentals off fast enough. The dealership had to put a camber kit in it to get it aligned, but it drove great. The ride is definitely firmer than stock, but the difference in handling was very noticable.

By 50,000 miles the struts were in bad shape. I bought a set of Rancho RSX struts, but never got around to installing before I traded it. I still have them and they're in way. If anyone is intrested, PM me. The fronts appear to only fit 2002-2003 and the rears 2002-2005. Rancho's application guide shows no difference between 4x2 and 4x4 like the F-150s. If I'm not mistaken these springs were said to fit both 4x2 and 4x4, but that was only through 2004 when I installed mine.

Anyone worried about spring rates and a rough ride should steer away from eibach. I've owned several vehicles with them and they suck. Installed competitors with a lower drop and had a much improved ride. Personally, I don't think eibach does any long term testing, or they have testers who don't know what they are doing.

but eibach is the only company that makes a drop for the 03-06 expys :fyi:
