Yeah it'll be a while for me because both my job and college are within 20 miles of each other and I don't drive too much anyway! But yeah your truck sounds nasty. I want someone to drive mine so I can hear it from the outside but I don't trust anyone with my truck!

Looks and sounds like to me you made the right choice with Borla. I need to get my high flows and programmer before that. So many toys and so little money

Arklight, your truck sounds awesome!
My bad, I was looking @ the 2.5" round which is higher.

Wow, that is much too expensive, is it made of Platinum? I would take that money and upgrade to a 3" midpipe instead and get the #40085, your truck will love it.

Cheapest option for me, it looks like, is a pro xs due to my current si/do flowmaster 40. I could do it in my driveway with a sawzall and clamps. Money is a bit tight right now for me to take it to a shop and have welded. I did not realize that the person that did my exhaust went with that particular muffler setup. Last exhaust he did for me was a FM 40 knockoff but was si/so with a y-pipe after the muffler. To be honest, the knockoff sounded better.

Arklight, would this exhaust setup you have and 94306 high flow cats be tolerable on the highway? i currently have a magnapack and if i do the swap im wishing for high flows as well. would like to atleast keep the same db's in sound

Volume might be slightly less with the Borla (it is bigger), but it is more consistent so you hear that "growl" for longer. I.e., when the Magnapack gets into the higher rpm ranges it gets that louder bassy sound whereas the Borla gets a louder punchy sound. At 70-75 mph the Borla sounds badass.

I don't have high-flows but I hear the cats on the later model trucks like mine are pretty close to them.

Hope this helps!

Hey maybe I can give you a second opinion. I recently got high flows to go along with my Magnapack and I love it. Granted, I do have the short puppies (94136's) but it sounds just fine at highway speed. I love the muscle truck sound personally but I think it'll be up to you to decide on what you can tolerate. Even with my really short high flows it calms down good at cruising and highway. Now once I get up to 80+ mph it sounds like an old school 302 Mustang haha but that's what I love to hear. SOUND! I'm sure your Borla wound sound pretty sick even with the slightly longer high flows you want. I hope my long answer helps you some.
