Meh, bullets are cheap but small.

Magnaflow 12867 may be the ticket.

I 'm running a 22x9 Magnaflow now. Was running a race series 22x4. The larger muffler feels and sounds better when under power and pulling heavy. It's probably my Imagination, but yea felt better down low (torque wise). But I'm running the factory tune with a shift kit as well.

The 22x4 Magy was a little loud IMO. Here it is right after my header install, -on fresh brushed concrete, for traction. Goofing around before running a 0-80 for comparisons lol.

Yeah the one you had at first Jbrew was a magnapack. Stay away from round bodies if you don't want loud. An oval is the perfect choice

Yea, that sound got old pretty quick. Plus it had like a wusshhh sound when revving then engine back then. That's cuz it was rich and running incorrect 02 sensors. Borg & Warner O2's that averaged about 9 mpg lol. Those came back out after sucking three tanks of gas fairly quickly. So, went back to Bosch O2's and eventually went back up to 15 mpg. Then switch out the plugs and coils again and went with Denso's/GAMMA coils along with an oval Magnaflow. Ported and knifed the intake a little more drastically (removed more material). Seemed to run quite a bit better and I gained another average mpg (16 mpg , oh wow! lol) Finished all that back up in 08 and haven't touched the engine or exhaust since. Still consistent, no problems so far.

Will try unbolting the axle back portion of the exhaust, like right after the muffler, i was thinking that maybe you're unpleasant resonance is from the tips.

It's really not too bad except around 1800-2000 rpm, the sweet spot for these year trucks. It's just I cruise around that rpm on the highway. I'd have to go slower or faster. Once the 3dcarbon kit is on the tips are gone anyway.
