Hey Brew, you think a small bead of the permatex ultra copper around the o2 sensor seal (not the threads) will be OK if it leaks again?

Everything off now but the passenger header...

Going to clean the driver's side header mating surface now.

Driver's side header on, just need to torque...

Water break...

Going to have to go to Home Depot and get some better collector bolts, the cheap *** OBX nuts are already showing stress cracks...

Yea, top of the bung. Can't hurt, but it won't last unless you clean the area w/lacquer thinner or paint prep first. contaminant free uknow. It may be better to rub it in, if your unable to manipulate the bead, plus it will cure quicker.

I can only assume the Ford gaskets weren't sealing because of the port shape, leaking at the seal area. Looking at the soot from the exhaust flowing through there is a semi circle at the bottom of the gasket. You can kind of see it in the picture below.

Yeah that's the spot.

We're almost done, one bolt on the passenger side is being a pain in the **** though...
