Honestly your best bet is to remove all four and put in two magniflow 94106 high flow cats if you still want cats but a louder sound. They are cheap, about $96 shipped for two. I'm saving money for some long tubes and those cats. Should be a bomb set up.

depending on were you live remove all 4 if you dont have emission checks. i live in MI no tests here. if not remove either or i dont think it matters im not sure thoe.

if you remove all 4 yes you will have a CEL for the rear 2 o2's you can get a programer and make that go away. it doesnt effect how the truck drives thoe.

I removed the much larger rear cats. It made the truck NOTICABLY louder, and I didn't throw a CEL.

Deleting the rear cats is a lot easier and cheaper than replacing and adding in aftermarket cats.

The rear cats ( longer ones ) are the ones you should remove, not the smaller ones closest to the engine.

You still might get a CEL in your model, but it can be very easily fixed. Gotts O2 mod, look it up on here.

nope i havent run cats in over 3 years. if you take the cats off and take it up to a local exhuast shop they can bend a stright pipe to match your cats. thats what i did. or get longtubes and you wont have to worry about a down pipe.

i noticed a lil more power and a better tone with no cats. not to mention it smelled so much better than with cats
