How many miles is on yours?

From the inside it sounds fairly loud, very deep, and mean as hell. Once you listen to it on the outside it doesn't seem as loud as it should be. If you've never listened to yours on the outside with someone else driving you would probably see what I'm talking about. What's even more odd is the fact that you have an '04 which has 4 cats. Mine is an '08 and only has 2 cats.

I think a lot of sound is "compromised" when recording unless you have an extremely high quality camcorder. I was using a Sony DCR-SR47 which is just a basic camcorder for the "every once in awhile" user.

However...... it still should give a pretty good example of how going to high flows will affect the sound.

I think I have about 5k or so on it. I agree, the inside sounds good, but I want it a bit louder in there. Nothing crazy, which is why I am really anxious to hear yours with the maggie hi flows. The outside should def be louder tho.

I'm ready to hear it too!

I've probably got 5K on mine as well. Let me get the inside video up and you can compare that to yours......

I put the video in the post above. The camera tried to focus in on my steering wheel but you get the point. Oh yeah..... I "terminated" the WOT run there at the end once I seen the officer sitting behind some trees. I'm not sure why he was there -- I turned down a deserted road to make this video!

I'm hoping the high-flows give me the sound I'm looking for but if they don't I'll be deciding between true-dual bullets (like mblouir), true-dual magnapacks (like 4.6punisher), or true-dual 11" body magnaflows like Darrens (except with high-flows). If I do change I've decided I want to stick with a straight through muffler. I really like the "rumble" that true-duals give you but I also like the deep tone of 3" pipe and a SI/DO muffler. I'm at a loss I guess. Let's just hope the high-flows sound like we want them to!

Sounds very close to mine, although you accelerate harder than me, so mine is not always that loud inside. I don't usually go over 2k. Sounds close to me, how far back is your muffler mounted?

I don't normally accelerate like that either. Most of the time I try to keep it below 2.5k max unless I have to.

Mine is mounted just in front of the front leaf spring bolt. I used the 3" mid-pipe from a Banks kit so it's mounted the same place as most cat-back systems. How about yours?

Mine is upgraded to 3" partway down the mid pipe and is a 3" dual 2.5" out. The muffler is right before the axle.

That white FX4 sounds god. Thats yours? Sounds very nice for stock cats!

Yep that's mine. Thanks! Hopefully the high-flows will really open it up!

I really liked that high RPM pass you made, very smooth. You're not going to be disappointed with the hi-flows!
