this truck sounds good

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U08XO...eature=related

I am getting a new exhaust within the next couple of days and i want my truck to sound similar.(i dont find any others that really sound good on you tube or on camera really) i want it to be very loud and very deep and i am going to a local shop and want to know kind of what would be best so i can work him down on price. so i would say true dual right? and do i need cats in tx? and i would think two seperate mufflers and to go out the back with some big ole tips? and price is a little concern.
So basically i am asking some input suggestions and help whatever you got to say. Thanks

No cats = LOUD!!! I don't think that is too big of a deal in Tx... True duals yes, I'd go with 2.5". X pipe recommended for sound and performance. An H pipe will be a little louder, but won't sound as good as the X. Mufflers? It sounds to me that you would be happy with a pair of SLP LM1 or LM2, or even Dynomax bullets. For the deep sound you prefer, go with a pair of 4x18" stainless tips

i agree avfrog, except with the SLP's i would get dynomax bullets or even single chamber mufflers.

straight piped 5.4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWH4A59TEmo

bullets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9btEqYUvho

my 4.6 with single chambers, no cats:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqroKcGtyfU

with cats:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nezTB...eature=related

cats and no mufflers:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt6qp...eature=related

and i would also get a H pipe my trucks got a H pipe and i love the sound, not that theres anything wrong with X pipes, i just like the deeper sound (and more popping) of H's

and again agreed on the 4x18 tips, mine are 3.5x18

Does anyone know what a fair ball park price i should be expecting? and keep the old cats or get new ones price diff and sound diff? thanks guys.

That does sound good, almost like a Chevy with straights. I considered running no mufflers with my rear cats out, it does sound good.

I just don't like the sound at all. But that's just me. I'm not going to call you white trash because you don't agree with me!
