True Duels = Loss of idle rpms ?

After I put my duel cherry Bombs on I had a Cat. crap out two days later. I have now replaced both cats with High Flow Magnaflow"s. I am now at an idle of about 500rpm. which sounds like crap. Also now with the high flows I can't belive how loud they are. ( to Loud ). Now I am thinking of replacing the cherry bombs with MAgnaflows. Will this get my Idle back up, also will it tone it down a little?

what caused your cat to stop working? Was that fixed before putting on the new ones?

Since you have a 2005 the injector issue may have ruined your cats due to running too rich.

These trucks idle real low when warm, my Gryphon as read as low a 460rpm in gear. If you want a louder idle, get a programmer that will let you adjust it. Personally i'd rather idle lower and save more fuel

Wondering if the high flow cat's lowered backpressure that caused the low idle????

That wouldn't cause a idle calm down, theres got to be a restriction somewhere, the ECM re-set would be the first thing to try.
