Thats what im thinking. anyone know any places to buy a hood scoop i cut-out and put on. or any ram air hoods??

Is that a bad thing? better yet will the ram air throw off the ratio enogh to screw somthing up?

I was refering to a intake kit like the one you fabramacated. But there are shaker hood setups that are ram air, I believe cervini's has it. Quick search showed octane motor sports has 'em.

You can acctuly buy this set up on ebay with a heat sheild that will fit.

Alot has gone wrong here.

-That intake is sucking hot air off the radiator
-The runner length is way off, going to hurt bottom end
-Hot air from the motor in traffic is going right into the intake.

Don't forget the Air:Fuel ratio.

i have the jlt too....

the ram air scoop wouldnt through off the a/f that much, unless he made a box for it so that it was forced in, this setup would just supply cooler air to the filter, which is what i was going to do with a roush scoop but didnt like the look
