I have been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tempted to jump in on the lenching within this thread... SOOO tempted.

If I just had a picture of my arm showing the 'THUMBS UP' symbol, I'd be in business (re: see the party thread in GD).

thats making it warm air intake. Stick with the factory tubing, if anything create your own tubing to go right up against the factory punch out from the factory air box. Thats 1 way of a true cold air system and in my opinion makes more sence. Thats the way i have mine and it works great.

Then I'd like to know the secret. I've NEVER gotten 20mpg in my 04 SCAB 4x2, not the day I bought it, not after the CAI, not after the exhaust, hell with the tuner I get approx 17.6 city.

I get 21-22 Highway, maybe Shifty's definition of "city" isn't the same as the rest of America.

97 4.6L 2wd 3 door, CAI, Longtubes, high flow mufflers, and brand new o2's new oil n filter and just ran Seafoam threw it. Farmigton hills is very much like every other city... theres mile roads that go East n west and theres roads that go north and south every mile. i drive my truck 8 miles to work 8 miles home and then out were ever i need to. i ran my truck till it wouldnt run any more ebcause it was out of gas. i put 5 gallons in and ran it bone dry again and wouldnt you know it i got 102.5 miles out of 5 gallons in the city. if im on the highway i draft semi's and get 40MPGS or so claims mythbusters that you get 100 % more effect while drafting.

Should have the scoop back 2 morro
