Yeah I agree, your tips are right under the cab. My Silverado drove me crazy enough with its Flowmasters droning so i'll be happy with the calmer interior

Change of plans......

Well looks like I am back to the hi flows option. Can't find anywhere around here that will remove the other two without replacing them with new ones. Plus the last shop told me that most likely AR will be moving back to some sort of inspection process in the very near future. Oh well, the hi flow option isnt too expensive.

Your mufflers are completely under the bed right? Not any of them are under cab?

Correct. About 9"s behind the cab.

None, Its almost like stock inside, then put the window down & theres the sound. Kinda cool, I love how sound blocking the 04+s are. Once them rear cats are out hopefully it will hum nicely though, not a Flowmaster drone hum, just something I can hear at 1000rpm, I hear mine at 1600rpm with windows up, its a very low hum though.

i have a y-pipe with no mufflers coming out at 45's , i just deleted my two rear cats and it's loud but sounds good thinking about putting in a magnaflow later. And yes it is kind of hard to weld. I had dual side outs before the tire, no muffler, all four cats and that setup drone like crazy in the cab this new setup doesn't drone too bad

Has anybody taken their cats to the scrap yard to see what they get for them? I might do this and actually make money

Cause I dont have to have he truck sniffer tested, just plug it in so they don tinspect my actual exhaust, I'd love to have the dual effect especially if I can get lots of interior drone

My 14" Maggies with 2 high flows sounds mean as hell. Just took a highway trip this weekend and she purrs like kitten down the interstate, but when I get on it, she sounds like an Angry Tiger!
