Using Pre-cats over Hi-flows.....

Just read a post on how you could cut out the back two cats and use the pre-cats only, as they flow as good as the hi flows do. Anybody else done this? I had planned on ordering hi flows in the next week or so but stumbled across this possible gem.....

I'm doing this whenever my friend gets his sawzall, according to Joshmac's advice its completely harmless to the engine and a much more affordable route to take.

Hope you're a good "awkward" welder.

X2 they are not friendly, but it can be done. It seems really hard when the cats are still in place, but once there is just pipe there it's not as bad.

haha, I took mine to the shop for high flows and he said, "How in the f*ck do you expect me to weld that?" Marvin, i said, "Youre a professional."

You dont have much room to work with at all. You gotta get real flexible real fast.

Your dual 11 inchers (lol, pervert) seem to be as loud as my 18" with high flows.

I want a 14" now.

Darren's getting everyone on the Maggie kick!

Thats awesome. Man I wanna hear my 11"s with the pre cats, i'll probably be the loudest Magnaflow system here if i'm lucky enough. Gotta compare mine to Joshmac's and anyone elses.

Haha good, Magnaflow all the way!
