Thank you sooooo much Chris!! You have been immensely helpful! I am glad to finally get ahead of all that confusion and understand that this kit, the 16614, will fit my SuperCrew w/a 6.5" bed even tho the Magnaflow Rep & others don't seem to believe that it will fit. I'd rather have personal testimony from people who have done it, like yourself attest to the fact that it does work, then just simply believing someone who may not have tried it.

It seems as tho some are oppossed to having a shop do this type of work but I am all for it, so let me ask, are there any tips/hints you would give that I could tell my shop to help make the installation a little bit easier. Thanks again Chris!!

And Max, let me just say, (and I'm not trying to be a **** ) and hopefully you see that I'm saying these words not to antagonize or anything. I realize that you started this thread w/a specific question/concern in mind and it appears (hopefully) that it has been resolved. I hope that you realize though that in the midst of helping answer one person's question in a thread, other subsequent, but similar questions may arise that may not be asking the exact same question as the original poster, but may help to answer problems that may arise from their purchasing said product. As I took it, you were discussing probs in regards to fitment that you had on your Maggie exhaust. All of my subsequent posts were then intended to insure that if I did decide to purchase this exhaust, that it would indeed fit on my particular vehicle. I know that then some roundabout questions were asked that may have appeared to "hijack" your thread, but in reality they were all related in concern to your initial post, that is, if this model of the Magnaflow exhaust would fit my vehicle. I thought that that was the intention of your post, to warn others that there might be a prob w/the welding/installation of this product and to be cautious. All of the questions that I asked that followed were merely trying to heed the warning that I thought you were giving. So, thanks for your help in educating me!!

When you get your new setup, make sure you put some new pics and possibly some audio files on here for us to check out how it all turned out. Cheers!!

Well the maggie rep did lend a hand but the company never came through with a better product result. I wasnt offered anything at all from magnaflow directly. I have to say I am very unhappy with the product I received and the company itself. Hottexhaust on the other hand was VERY helpful as was Chris (magnaflow rep) but the Magnaflow company itself did nothing to help. I recieved another kit from them that was worse then the first and decided to opt for a different style kit. I have not mounted it yet though. Hottexhaust is the way to go for sure. Never met a company so willing to serve the customer. They sent me three kits for no charge until one was worked out and picked up one so far. It's been a month and they told me to take my time switching kits and let them know when to pick up the final kit.
