I have been searching for a answer to this, but havent been able to get one. I have a 2004 f150 XLT. I have the manual climate controls and I want to know if I am able to switch it over to the Digital control?? Is there a kit that I need to buy in order for it to work?? I have the Digital controls, now just wondering what needs to be done in order for this to work in my truck

well..I got the Digital controls...Now I need a new faceplate??? I would like to get a different one instead of cutting my old one? Is there a place I can get a black faceplate to cover my controls and radio??

 

I'm doing the same thing as you. When you get all your info together I'd like to compare notes. I have a 2004 XLT and picked up a 2005 Lariat climate control, with faceplate and all wiring plug-ins. just trying to figure out how to rewire and what extra equipment i have to buy. That one thread placed here is a good one since 928gt has done it already, trying to contact him.
mine is a bit more involved since i want to hook up Lariat power heated seats as well!

I just got my climate control....dont know to much about what has to be done yet....still trying to get answers....I contacted ford and they said it could be done, they are looking into it for me...so Im just waiting on them kinda, while looking it up on the internet.....anything helps!!!

 

Not to highjack your thread but would anyone have pics of the back of the climate controls of a 2003 or older???

 

Do you have a contact at Ford (email?) i could get? like to ask them about the seat issue i'm having...

 

all i did was contacted my local ford dealer, he told me he was gonna look into it for me
