enric,
When you ask for a Fuse box diagram, is this for the location of the fuses and relays, or the wiring diagram for the fuse box ?
I don't know if you are asking due to the fact that you did not get a owners manual if you purchased the truck used.
If you just need the fuse diagrams ( size and for what device ) You can download a acrobat version from :
http://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenanc...ucks/F-150.asp
I just checked and the 1999 owners manual is there, along with the other suporting documentation that was with the truck new.
If you have a question about the actual fuse box to the wiring harness, the diagram in paper form is about 30mm thick so it is kind of hard to post the whole thing.
If you need a specific wiring run, if the above information in the owners manual is not what you need, pleae reply and let us know and we will do our best to help you out.

Steve, flafonman,
thank you all !! you saved my life. I left the owner manual in California and I had to do some changes here in Europe to pass the vehicle technical test to get the license plates.
The pain was to separate the rear break light and the turning signal in 2 diffrent bulbs and use an orange (yelllow) ligth for the turning signal different from the original red.
thanks,

If you need any of the individual wiring diagrams from the EVTM, just me know and I 'll post or email them.
Stuff like where the harness is at, the connectors and pin out if it is needed.
BTW : Where did you mount the Yellow Turn Signal bulb at ?
Don't know why, but I have always thought that a better idea then having the Brake light flash myself.
Another option, is I have seen people use the 2 bulb STT to the 4 bulb STT trailer converters for things like this. to seperte the S & T parts of the Stop Turn Tail lights. Just a thought that might make it quick and easy to get it done.

kinda confused
I had to buy a separate orange signal 4 in long and place a magnet behind it so I can stick it to the chasis of the truck temporatly, only to pass the test and get the papers.
the problem, there are 2 cables to the rear bulb, 1 is for the regular rear light and the other 1 is for stop and turn STT.
Only one cable for 2 functions ???
I do not know how to divide it into 2 different bulbs, 2 cables, 2 bulbs.. I thought of pluging a cable to the front Turn signal and run it all the way to the end to the new turning signals.
The stop cable is fine, I found 1 cable to the stop bulb no problem..
it is the turn signal cable that I can not separate by itself.
I do not quite understand your options, when you say trailer, do you mena the 4 plugs for a trailer lights? I tried those and the turn and stop cable is the same.
thanks for your time, I appreciate it.
My tech. test is tomorrow..

The converter I was talking about is an add-on for taking trucks that have seperate Yellow turn signals and wiring them to tailers like a Well Cargo that only has the Combo STT reb lights ( the flashing stop light for the turn signal ).
I have also seen where if you put it in backwards that the combo STT lights will now produce a Stop & Tail light and a Turn light seperate. My dad's motorcycle trailer is a type that has seperate turn lights in yellow on the back, but the trailer plug is a standard flat 4 wire.
Don't think you are going to be able to get this item before your test..it is something like 11:30 am there now.
The quick down and dirty to get it to work would be to tap into the highmount 3rd brake light, to Run the stop lights, and take a wire from the front turn to the new back turn. Make sure to get the front turn signal, not the running light.
The High mount stop light has a splice in the pass side rear C pillar area. If you take out the high mount stop light, to get the color code, you can find it down the rear pillar so it is easier to splice into without taking down the head liner. On a XLT there are 3 wires in the high mount stop light, 1 for the cargo lights, 1 for the high mount stop light, and a ground.
Run this down the rear pillar, and out to the rear tail lamps would get you a stop only lead for the tail lights.
This is probably the quick way about getting to the stop light, if you don't want to dig through the connectors under the dash.
Good luck, considering that you are running the clock on this one

Let me know if there is anything else I can try to help with, but it looks like you are down to the short time to get it done by Fri.

2 down, 1 on the works
I got the running tail light and stop ligh separeted as you said, thatīs 2 down.
I run the stop cable from the 3rd brake to the tailgate and swap it for the original turn ligh (in the bulb) so I have running tail and brake in the same bulb.
For the turn signal, I will do that >> take a wire from the front turn to the new back turn. Make sure to get the front turn signal, not the running light. >>
Also, I had to dissable the front yellow running light, since it is not used here either, that was easy, cut and paste.
So only the turn signal to go... itīs 13.05 am .. I think I will finish it up tomorrow since the test is at 1pm.. I think I got time tomorrow morning.
I am going back to California in 3 or 4 weeks.... I am considering a new f150 4x4 or the new dodge.. Iīve always had Ford so it is tough to change.
thanks, I will shout you and email on Sat to give you the news, I hope I can celebrate it tomorrow nite.
cheers,
Enric
