Tunes, intake, exhaust-all 3 a must?

Hey guys,

i have an 07 hd with a saleen blower and i'm ready to unleash this truck. Gonna go with an sct x3 with vmp tunes.after reading do i need a cai and different exhaust to justify the tunes? I'm learning here so any help or info is appreciated. I did throw on a borla pro xs muffler. Question is really whether i need to put on an intake and full exhaust if getting a programmer and tunes.
Vmp seem like the most reasonable with the best return times for the tune. No other mods-yet.

Thanks

It is VERY important that you have that one dyno tuned IMHO, by an individual who is a MSE with specific certs in ECM & transmission

Thanks for the replies guys, i'd love to take it to one of their shops but they're on the east coast and i'm down in dallas. I read one thread suggesting psi motorsports just outside of houston, anyone else know if they're reputable(could handle that drive). I was going to go with one of those mentioned by 88, but the turn around with troyer was almost a year in one case(another thread), is jdm going to be the same? Thanks

You could PM FATHERFORD as he has a Saleen s/c on his truck and see where he got his tunes done. He's in South Texas.
