Just ordered the tuner on the 5th! I can't wait till it comes in with the custom tunes!!!

 

cONGRATS! Post up a review, i have been contemplating getting some tunes from Justin myself.

 

i ordered mine june 19th and still no tuner.....it says 5-10 businness days for custom tunes so idk what the problem is here. i try calling and emailing but no response

I got my Xcal3 with tunes preloaded on it in roughly three weeks. I have emailed Justin a few times and I've always got a response very quickly. Some times he's busy on the dyno or something so he can't answer the phone but he's always called me back or emailed me back...

 

I ordered mine on the 1st of july and i just sold my evo. so i hope it isnt to long either,

 

I ordered an SCT X3 with custom tunes from Justin @ VMP on June 26th. Can't wait till it gets here!

I heard others on the forum say it takes 3 weeks. So I'm waiting patiently

 

yeah well he just now emails me saying i didnt have a computer code for my truck and hes shipping it blank....its been since june 19th...

 

Got my tracking mine will be here Wednesday 2 weeks from time order was placed. I have a evo so i was able to send my hex code at the time of purchase. plus i went with the 3 87 octane tunes

 

sweet! hes shipping mine blank, will be here this Wednesday. is the hex code on the door jamb sticker in on my driver side? you open the door and its the sticker on the back door telling you ire size, paint code etc...what do i look for?

 

HEX code is the computer code-Its basically the factory tune code and you need a tuner to get.Plug in the tuner and go to vehicle info-There it is.

no that's probably the delay you will have to pull it with the tuner .

it will be a code and it will look like RXCM2E7.HEX

I already have the evo so i had mine when i submitted it.

Looks like mine didn't ship Friday according to the tracking so will probably be Thursday or Friday

 

Nope. I'm not sure where it is on yours but on our model year they are usually on the PCM themselves. Anyways since he's shipping your tuner blank just use the tuner to pull the strategy.

 

then he will email me the custom tunes for it?
