I just got my Gryphon yesterday and wow I love it already! Took 3 min to install, and just looks awesome! Can't wait to get my intake and exhaust and some custom tunes. My only question is, what format picture is the splash screen so I could make my own??

They are, Raptor. Here's the link to the product page you want: http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...e_Vehicle.html

I know that unit is somewhat "less capable" than the one for the later model year trucks though, so I suggest you call Bill Cohron at PHP and talk to him regarding what you could expect from it. Bill and Corey are super folks and you'll be happy you called.

I just remembered though, duh!, they've said they're going to be closed the weak after Christmas so that Bill can catch up on writing the custom programs for all the units people have ordered. He's got a bit of a backlog.

Maybe by the time your truck is back on the road, they'll be open again!

We had many orders that were going to be Christmas presents -- looks like you were one of 'em, huh? I'm so glad you like it! If you get a minute, I encourage you to join the PHP Customer Forum, which will provide you with a wealth of information (thanks to our great members!).

You can find information about splash screens here.

i tried to do a 0-60 run.... got it up on the programmer, said go, so i floored it, all the 2 rears did was spin for like a second till i let up and then punched it to go...

i don't remember it doing that without the programmer and with less agressive tires..

made me smile

I will def check that out, I am having so much fun with it, I already went through a tank of gas, and put in some 93, wow, its soo hard to keep off the skinny pedal now, I'm this impressed with just the canned tunes, once I get the intake and exhaust with some custom tunes, I'm not going to know what to do with my self haha

You're lucky!

That is one thing that I'm disappointed with on mine. As lame as it sounds one of the main reasons I wanted a programmer was to be able to burn out. I still can't do it. It seems like there is a much better chance of doing it now and not stock but it still won't do it. Kind of bummed about that.

Dont feel bad mine will only do it when the grounds wet nothing like getting sideways in a 1/2 ton truck!!

On a side note I have decided to take off the instant mpg display...It gets depressing seeing 2.8 mpg

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. It's just kind of depressing when I'll be in my brother's bone stock Ram and he could burn the tire to nonexistence if he wanted to.

2.8mpg! that is low. The lowest I've seen mine go was 3.3. I like it on there because it's just kind of cool to see how your driving style effects your mileage.

Do you guys have limited slip? Mine can spin them pretty dang well, if I punch it from a stop I always have to let off for them to quit spinning, of course I have an open rear. I have VMP tunes but I am in no way saying VMP is better than PHP. In fact, I originally wanted Bill's tunes but just couldn't find a used Gryphon. I got a steal on my Xcal2, so thats the way it went

Speaking of which, Bill or Corey, how much longer till you are able to write tunes for the SCT software? I think I remember Bill posting on here it would be after the new year, but I'd really love to try one of your tunes!
