How long did it take you guys to receive your custom tunes from VMP?

I ordered my X-cal 3 and tunes on 02/06/08, and received the tuner but no tunes. I had to to use the tuner to read the strategy, and sent that info to VMP on 03/04/08 (the day I received the tuner). I am going on my trip to the desert this coming week, and was hoping to use my towing tune.

Any ideas when I might get them?

I emailed and left messages for Justin.

Justin was out of town for a week, I think last week or possibly the week prior.

So I'm sure he's going crazy trying to answer everyone's messages and emails.

How are both of your tunes going, Tornadom and Racing2Fast? Racing2Fast I told someone to shoot you a PM the other day because they wanted to know how good VMP's tunes are for the 4.6L, I hope you don't mind.

I work for a small town Co-Op for the time being, time being until April 28th. There system is 14.4kv.

As of April 5th, I'll be starting with Memphis, Light, Gas, & Water. 1st 6 months a low ball grunt, after that I should start my AP-Lineman course through the IBEW. There sytem is 23kv!

Why do you ask? You in the electrical field?

Tom

Just curious, I do electrical design. Most of our design is 460v with some 4160v, but sometimes we need to do design the overhead to get the power there.

OK from browsing the site it does not appear that they have CAI for the F-150's.
I would like to buy a kit like Brenspeed and Bama sell for the Stangs. Does anyone know where to find that type of combo? I prefer the SCT X-Cal2 to the Edge or even the X-Cal3

This package will optimize your powertrain programming, giving you a set of 4 different custom programs made to reflect each individual vehicle owner's needs, their local fuel quality, etc. Our custom tuning will unlock significant horsepower and torque at any throttle position and at any rpm, optimize various delays & retards that slow the powertrain's response & hurt performance in both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, recalibrate automatic transmission shift characteristics to reduce slippage & improve performance, as well as raise/remove the top speed limiter. Switching programs is accomplished by simply turning the program selector ****. The engine tuning can be returned to the stock factory program for vehicle service, etc. just by removing the module.
