I have noticed that a lot of people are having problems with their EDGE after they attempt to do an update. I have had mine since last summer and never updated it, hence, I have never had any problems (knock on wood). Anyone else in the same boat?

I purchased mine in July, 2006. It had a May, 2006 manufacture date and there where several significant updates since it's manufacture. I updated before installation in July, 2006. Have not updated since and it has been flawless for 18,000 miles. I love the thing.

 

I got mine this Christmas and have never updated it. I too have noticed that people experience problems AFTER they update the module. I have yet to have any problems and see no reason for an update

I have had my Edge for about a year now. It has been updated several times and I have never had a single problem. I think alot of the problems that people are having are user problems. I run in LVL 2 all the time. I love this little unit!

 

I like level 2 for my normal everyday driving and commute. The low end performance is better, but for highway, I really like to use level 3, where the punch at higher rpms comes in handy. Makes passing on 2 lane highways much easier.

 

has there been an update for it since july 06?I tried to update mine and the latest it can seem to find is july 06
