I was pleasantly surprised to see the unit came with a dash pod, I was really expecting just a tuner that would be attached to the dash somehow. Any of you painted (or plan to paint) the dash pod? My interior is grey so the black pod doesn’t look bad but I am going to pursue painting it grey to match the dash after our testing session is over.
I was too lazy to pull the fuse. ....um... I mean Excited!!

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with "glitches". My display does do funny things when I adjust the backlight, and occasionally reboots when I'm adjusting it. Rob hasn't responded to any of my messages, though. I did call in to tech support and they are having an engineer call me back. But, yes, this is why they have beta testing. Anyone that is reading this should not read anything into it about problems with the unit - what you should be reading is that Edge is very interested in developing and delivering a quality product.

Obviously. I'm not having any problems with my tune. It's just the display. If you try really hard, you can confuse it...

ATTN:ALL BETA TESTERS

DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR EVOLUTION UNTIL YOU RETURN YOUR VEHICLE TO STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got off the phone with Rob, and there's a glitch in the software that will not allow you to return the vehicle to stock if you unplug the Evolution.

They're working on a fix for it, so don't fret if you already have, but it's gonna be a little bit of trouble to get it back to stock.

This Just In

Also, if your unit crashes and resests itself to power level 0 like mine has, DO NOT reprogram the unit.

Zaairman is right. If you remove it or it crashes, DON'T MESS WITH THE PROGRAMMING!!!

Rob said not to fret Zach. I'm in the same situation as you...

He emailed me and said he was going to call, but he never called back. I left him a message also this morning. I'm not worrying though, because I still have the level 3 programmed on there.

Well, that makes three of us. My unit locked up last night and I unplugged it. I sent Rob the details, but looks like I am programmed to Level 2, but the unit says 0.

I just got mine yesterday and installed it today. Im running level 2 and I can tell a difference (it shifts pretty hard). I can't wait to try level 3! I wish it had tranny temp though. So after they make all the adjustments and fix the glitches...do we just hook them to our PC and upgrade them or do we have to send them back? Thanks.

I talked to Rob today and they are having server problems (i.e. can't upload any new programs to our units). He said he would call back on Wed.

Got mine today. It went through all the programming steps without a hitch.
when I cranked it the edge went blank and would not come back on. So like a dummy I unplugged it from the OBD II port and started over. No luck but the good thing is the truck still runs! Will have to call to see whats up.
