it works fine otherwise
It doesn't recognize it because it is programmed to your truck. You have to return your truck to stock before you can fiddle with the Evolution on your computer.

I love mine. Tonight I went to town to get something to drink, and I forgot all about how good it is! It made a huge difference in my acceleration! And it seems that I'm getting decent mileage with all the stomping the gas.

Hey guys what is the deal with the disclaimer screen- 5 warnings left. . . 4 warnings left. . . etc. etc. Each time I turn it on I have to hit enter then one more warning goes away. Do they quit after the last warning or is something else going on?

After the last one, it leaves you alone.

P.S. Don't unplug it until you return your vehicle to stock.

It is kind of hard when the screen goes blank after you crank it.

Good News / Bad News

Bad News first......Exited the health club with kids in tow and upon closing the drivers door noticed a rattle. ???????????? Settled the kids at home and went to install the evolution and then I noticed it. The truck had been broken into while working out. The whole lockset was missing - pushed in to gain access. Nothing was taken as the center console was untouched....change in ash tray and vinyl tonneau covered bed with a few items were untouched as well. I can not imagine anyone trying to steal a 02 Supercrew with three kid seats in the back. Not the hottest looking truck out there. Maybe just a smash and grab. Who knows ?

Good News was I did not install my evolution yet...... Happy about this. Looks like I will keep it out of sight until I get the door parts replaced.

2002 F150 Supercrew 4.6 Lariat

Beta Evolution installed perfectly. No problems or errors.
Just spent the last hour running the Default Level 0 tune and the Level 1 tune.

No install problems to report at this point. Loaded and ran both and restored to stock and then back to level 0.

I do like the Trans. shifting changes at this point.

Guess I will be running all the errands to burn this 87 octane tank of gas up to progress further with the 91 Octane tune.
