TroyerPerformance.com Now Open!!
Mike,
I was having the same problem. I was looking at some of the other threads and was directed your way. I am looking for a bit more power from my V-6. I have been looking intake, chip, and exhaust. I was told that you do some package deals. I look forward to dealing with you. I am really anxious to see the site. Hope it comes up soon.

Hi Luis,
We'll have the site's store back open tomorrow. I don't know at this moment just how many parts will be shown right away, as the database is mostly corrupted, we won't know until late tonight or tomorrow morning.
What happened was apparently a problem with the dedicated server our site resides on, and our product database got completely corrupted. (It's an Internet application, so there is no local backup.) Hard to believe, but our hosting company, which is supposed to be a top-shelf major hosting company (ProHosting Corp.), hasn't been able to make a successful backup of their 903,000+ web sites since sometime back in March (!!), so they were not able to do a server restore for us to correct the problem they caused. I can only imagine how few of their 900,000+ customers are even aware that they have not had a single backup performed since March, but we're changing hosts and may take legal action, to say the least.
We have to rebuild the product database, and we're trying something late tonight or early tomorrow that **MIGHT** (and I emphasize might), get most of the products back up quickly. If that doesn't work, then we'll still go ahead and open it back up with the first 67 parts that are still being indexed properly, and then add back in all the rest of our parts as quickly as we can, which might take a few days.
My apologies for you not being able to see everything we have for you great V6 F-150 right away, but you can also give us a call if you like, and we'll be happy to go over in detail exactly how to best get your performance where you want it for the least cost, and we're happy to do that. Our phone number is listed just below for your convenience.
In your case, with the mods you mentioned you'll probably want to take a look at our Stage 1 kit for the 4.2 V6 F-150, as that includes what you're talking about as well as an underdrive pulley, and adds a nice solid 40+ HP gain you'll be able to really feel.
We'll have the store at www.TroyerPerformance.com opened back up tomorrow with as many parts as we can immediately retrieve from the database, who knows, we may get lucky and have everything back up tomorrow, but worst case, some of it will be there tomorrow with the rest added in a few days.
Don't hesitate to call us to go over your needs in the meantime, we're always happy to help.
Good luck with your truck!

Hi Bart (braboin),
Nice to see you again!
Say, that's a great picture of your truck, if you like you can shoot me a copy & we'll get it into rotation at TroyerPerformance.com!
We had a product database get corrupted with no server backup (don't ask how this is possible in this day & age, I described what we know in another post just above, grrr........), so the store is down until tomorrow.
At any rate, nice to see you again, your truck is looking *great* & call me anytime!

Best of luck with the site! If, when you migrate to a new host provider, if there's anything I can do, or you need me regarding the site design, just shoot me an email....
heh I still have the elec. fans in boxes at my parents, hopefully I'll have them in this July when my brother is home from Houston to help me

Good luck on your site, Mike! Thanks for your great info. I read some of what you had to say in another post as far as some people getting the chip first and I think I am going to jump on one that I saw in the classifieds. It has the same code as mine and I was just wondering if I would have to get it reburned if I put some 4.10 gears on my truck. In the past couple of days I have learned about five times as much about trucks than I did when I bought it three weeks ago!!! Thanks again.
Mike-
I'm going through withdrawls not being able to brouse through your site for new ideas. I think I'm going with a Magnaflow system next!
Good luck getting your site back up and running.
Matt
PS- I still have to call you about the E-Fans (Installation update). I'll call ASAP, just been busy with work and Jury Duty.

Hi Bart (braboin),
(And by the way, for anyone that may not know, Bart here is the gentleman responsible for the basic design (look) of our site. He designed our new Troyer Performance logo and how the pages on our site look. You can see his credits on our "Contact Us" page at www.TroyerPerformance.com)
Yes, the store *was* looking pretty good until the crash last week, grrrrrrr.
We did the initial database restore attempt this morning & got *maybe* half the products that were there previously back in, at best. So it will take us at least another week or so to get it back to where it was, and then build further from there.
We obviously still have all the "basic web site content" that is needed, as we've been spending our time in the store, providing extremely thorough descriptions for all our parts, such as I don't think has ever really been done before, so that has and will continue to take a good amount of time. I just insist on being thorough in that regard, so it's a real time-pit.
Once we can catch our breath from there, we do need to obviously add a lot more content & yes, we will rapidly be changing hosting providers, the other gentleman you worked with on our end, Jon, is handling that aspect for us. Thanks for your kind offers of help, it's greatly appreciated!
Good luck with the sites you are currently designing & building, I know if you do it they'll look terrific, you've got the creative talent and most importantly, "the eye."
The e-fans aren't on yet?!? WOW! Just kidding........we're in the same boat, we're so busy that 2 of our vehicles are *way* behind on their modifications. Anyway, just before you do the installation of that fan kit, give me a call if you can, as there are a couple of things we do slightly differently (very recent changes) that I'd like to go over with you. The docs you have are fine & will work correctly of course, we've just refined a couple of things, basically.
Glad to see you drop by again, & keep in touch!

Hi Luis,
I just noticed you're over in England. Yes, the roads are smaller over there in Europe, I spent many years there, much of it in W. Germany. The gasoline costs are significantly higher over there as well, as you know all too well from driving a big American truck over there!
This is a great site to learn about these vehicles on, it is *THE* Internet resource for the FoMoCo Truck or SUV owner. Nowhere else exists the knowledge & talent as is assembled here, you'll love this site more & more as you spend more time here.
And yes, in any 1999 or newer F-150, you will have to have the Superchip reprogrammed for a change in gear ratio, like the 4.10's you're talking about. That is easily done for a small fee, you'll want to contact us privately for details about that, either via email or phone.
Good luck with your truck & enjoy the site!

Hi Matt,
Well, no more withdrawals, the site is back up, & thanks very much for your encouragement & support!
I do have to apologize, as not quite all the parts are displaying yet, we were able to salvage almost all of the parts we had as of last week. We made a lot of additional progress today as the day went on, so I edited this post to reflect the fact that we're now back to having all but about 25 to maybe 50 of the parts we had showing before, back up & displayed properly once again.
Good luck with the jury duty & everything else, & I'll talk to you whenever you get a chance!

Hi sveach,
Welcome to F-150 Online!
Our site is still not quite fully back up to where it was last week before the server crashed, we've still got a couple of days work to restore the last few parts. Then we'll get back to adding all the other sections, such as Ignition, Fuel System, Suspension & all the rest, so the site will soon be showing many more performance parts.
Glad to see you've registered to join the rest of us here at F-1250 Online, & we hope you'll hang out with us in your spare time!
