Hi JMC,

Yeah, no doubt, I'm sure Dean's probably got it memorized with as much effort as he puts into taking care of his truck, like I said, I have no doubt he's got a document saying that, it's just dead wrong. I'm sure when you saw Dean's literature saying to change manual tranny fluid at 60K miles but making no mention of servicing the automatic at all probably blew your mind as much as it does mine.

I don't think this has really ever come up before, this issue of potentially different documentation from US-delivered to Canadian-delivered vehicles. So I'm glad it has come up, we'll want to put some of that info in one of our FAQ's.

Thanks for setting up your account & good luck on the $$$, none of us ever have as much as we need to really fulfill our need for speed!

Way to go Mike!

I just checked out your new site and placed an order for an Air Force One cleaner/oiler kit (Blue). I purchased an AF1 kit from you Jan 2002 - SUPERB intake - no problems at all after 1.5 years.

**How/where can I order a replacement AF1 air filter (just the filter)??

** Also, isn't there some sort of nice, thin blue cover for this filter?? (pre-filter)

The Superchip I bought from you in 1999 is also performing without any problems! A great combination for sure!!

Thanks again..and good luck on your new site!!

Are you going to have some electric fans on your site?? Also I was reading on the stage 4 system that the pully is for street use only. Does that mean it is not recomended for offroading? If so why, just curious.

Hi dcovell,

Absolutely, and it won't be long now!

The plan was originally to launch everything all at once, and have it open on March 1st. But with as many parts as we have, it was taking the developer forever to build the sections of our online store, so what we did was to open the most-needed sections first, and then we're adding on each additional section as we get it completed, until they are all up. And that is going very well, ever since we implemented that strategy (and started doing virtually all the work ourselves), we've been ahead of schedule.

We just opened up the Pulleys section yesterday, which has all the various supercharger overdrive pulleys as well as underdrive pulleys for these FoMoCo vehicles (as well as for GM and Dodge Trucks & SUV's).

It won't be long before you'll see the electric fans, transmission coolers, etc. section up & running on our site, a few weeks at most and if everything goes well, even less. In the meantime, if there's anything you need or that you want to know, or discuss etc about any of your needs, please feel free to give us a call of course, as always.

The underdrive pulleys are "Street" pulleys in the sense of how much they slow down the accessories. Meaning that they're perfectly suitable for use on the street, they aren't so aggressive that they are for use on a drag race-only type of vehicle. Basically what it boils down to are the actual number of engine rpms required for maximum alternator output, and in our Street pulleys for the late-model F-150, only 850 rpm is required for full alternator output.

So that does *not* mean that you can't use them in an offroad situation, not at all, we're just talking about the fact that the engine accessories are still turning fast enough for use on a "normal" street-driven vehicle, or a "daily driver," so they'll be fine for offroad use, too. The only concern there would be if you have a *LOT* of auxiliary lighting, like 1000 watts or more, then you probably wouldn't want to underdrive the alternator unless you have an Optima Yellow-Top deep-cycle battery.

You can read all the details about those pulleys in our new Pulleys section, which just opened yesterday (Monday the 12th)

Thanks for your post & talk to you soon!

Just a quick note to everyone...........

You may have noticed some of our parts are not displaying on our web site at www.TroyerPerformance.com

This started last night (Tuesday the 27th), and we're working on finding the root cause right now, so don't freak out if you drop by and see only a few parts. The indexer (which indexes so the data is retrieved quickest) is stopping after only the first 67 parts, leaving hundreds more not showing up at all.

We should have that rectified by no later than Thursday morning (the 29th), if we have to do a server restore.

Thanks for your patience!
