I wish I had money for some more modifications, such as my taillamp smoking project, third brake light project, XD wheels and Cooper STT tires ( my tires are not real safe )

And for kicks, a shot of the 11" Magnaflows after 1yr 10 days of being on the truck. The Pennsylvania winter pitted the T-409 surface a little bit but still looks alright. Not worried about it rusting out anytime soon because I have been considering a muffler change sometime soon when money's better, and the potential buyer for the 11"s is down where no snow goes so it works out.

It is good stuff. I love how it smells and how it seems to spread itself out. Did you use that foaming sprayer for tire application? When i would spray HD directly onto the tire it seemed like i was using way too much. I prefer using a tire applicator with HD sprayed on it.
It looks good! Maybe I should climb under and check out my Magnaflow.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I just shoot the tires with HD, and wipe it down with a foam pad and then re-wipe them with a MF towel.
nope,
nope,
HD is great stuff. I'm addicted to the smell as much as how well it works. I just keep spraying. I think Meguiars need to make air fresheners.

i use 1to1 on my tires and stuff on the out side of the truck, makes it SHINEY and 4to1 on the inside which puts a real nice shine there too. I should snapped some pics of my dads truck after i did a quick detail on it
No, its just to be applied after every wash to keep a gloss, satin, or flat finish. I prefer to keep a flat finish. I hate glossy tires.
I've had it last quite a while. It actually will build up on the tires if you use it every wash and don't clean the tires with a good APC and stiff brush. The tires probably could have been cleaned a little bit better. In the application picture it looks like there was still dirt on the tires. For best results you should get the tires as clean as possible. I also realize those tires are pretty beat. HD is my go to product for tires and wheel wells however I am currently playing around with Optimum's Opti Bond Tire Gel. It's also not as spendy as you think. If you dilute 4:1 you're essentially getting 5 gallons for less than $40. And it can do a multitude of things from interiors (door panels, dash board, etc), undercarriage (wheel wells, frame, etc), tires, trim...

...... and just as important, engine bays. When used under the hood it can last over a month easy.
