Tire and trim cleaning and care
I've been cleaning my tires with a chemical that we use at the dealership I work at but lately I've noticed that 2 of my tires are starting to turn a blueish tint. I'm thinking it might me the cleaner I'm using. Is there a product that I can buy at a local parts store that is safe to clean my tires with? Will Simple Green work?
Also, my FX4 has alot of exterior plastic trim and I'm trying to find a low gloss product that I can use. I've tried Back-to-Black but I was not impressed.

I got some Mothers Back to Black, it can be used on the trim and you can get it anywhere. I haven't used it yet, as soon as i do i'll post how it went. Maybe someone else here as used it and can post their opinion on the product.
And Black Magic Matte Tire Finish is absolutely amazing. I just sprayed a bit on an applicator pad and then wiped it on, i love it!!

Another vote for Black WOW!
It is expensive for its size, but, the size of the outcome is WELL worth the price.
I have used it on 3 vehicles now, and, it still looks like a full bottle... I have pics in my gallery with it on my F-150 after 3 hours of rain.

I just got a bottle of Megs Gold Class vinyl and rubber protectant and put it on tonight. This is the first time that I did anything to my trim and put it on my bumber cover, bed rails, door and tailgate handles and mirrors and it was a remarkable difference. Not sure the durability of it since this is the first time I used it. Any body know how it holds up in the rain and in between washes? Thanks Troy.

Simple green does great on my tires. Nice clean flat look even without any dressing.
Black Wow is supposivly some of the best trim detailer you can get, so I coughed up the $31 and bought some and am hoping to get the chance to try it soon, trucks all muddy now so its not happening too soon.
Back to black sucks... not to bum you out but that hardly helped my trim any at all. Complete waste to me. Only positive thing about it is it didn't run real bad after rain.
