NXT...Paste or liquid

My local Store has the NXT in the paste and ther liquid. Does one work better than the other? Is one easier to work with?

I find the Liquid to be much easier to work with, but there are people who see it the other way.

I like the liquid. Seems to go on easier for me.

They are, generally, the exact same product in two physical characteristic forms.

Pick the one that you think will work better for your use...

I, personally, find that a paste is more difficult to work by machine and thus, I prefer liquid.

Some have said that the paste version of NXT leaves a wetter and deeper finish than the liquid version. After trying both of these products side-by-side on a properly prepped paint surface... I see no difference?

Being that the liquid is a bit easier to apply by hand or machine... I would stick with the liquid.

I've heard that too Boss.... like you though, I don't see a difference side by side.

RP... I suspect it has a lot to do with the prep. As you know, on a properly prepped paint surface, it's difficult to tell between most products!

Well I went back to the store and the liquid was sold out. I bought the paste and love it!!! Comes off very easy

1. I started with Meguiar’s Quik Clay Very easy to work with

2. Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner Wore my Shoulders out.
You have to work to get this stuff off

3. Deep Crystal System Polish Pretty easy to use I could instantly see
the paint color darken as I applied it.

4. NXT paste Extremely easy to use I had no trouble putting down a thin
coat Comes off almost effortlessly

I am very impressed with the Meg's products I did have a few scratches that I couldn't get off but I alreadyt bought a bottle of scratch x to try later.
My wife's car now looks better than new

Remember, once you've used S-X, you'll have to reapply your wax and such to that area as it will remove the surficial protection.

Yeah, Thanks for the reminder

If I use the scratch X can I skip the paint cleaner and go with just polish & NXT

You'll probably want to utilzed SX on spots rather than the entire vehicle... with that in mind, depending on your finish, you can go either route.

In short, if you need to clean your paint, do it. If not, don't. The SX shouldn't influence this decision... well, unless you want to use the SX on the entire vehicle. I'd work out and make sure Hans and Frans "PUMP *clap* YOU UP" before you attempt this though... it'll be an arm killer for sure.

SX doesn't do well with a machine... it gums up BAD.
