SilBlade wipers
SilBlade wipers
I “highly” and absolutely recommend these wipers. I bought them on a recommendation from RockPick and some others and they were right on the mark:
“THESE THINGS WORK BEYOND YOU IMAGANATION”
Now, I don’t know yet how well they actually work at swiping water on the window, but they have STOPPED the rain every since I put them on. We had rain about every damn day here and up until the past two weekends it was guaranteed to rain on the weekend.
NOT NOW, not with these babies on the truck. No rain, all sun, hotter then hell on some days, but NO rain.
Now, I don’t know how much longer my luck will run, so how about you ALL go buy some, and lets make this a nice DRY summer…

Ok, I'll bite, where did you get them and how much should I expect to shell out for a pair? I've read out here of others who are installing longer blades. Any of you guys do this with the new blades? If so how did it work out?
Ok, that should be enough questions for tonight.

They are $12.99 each. They are 22" of which I thought my others were, but my others were 20". The 22" fit no problem and cause no problems.
I can't speak to how well they work or last, but did have great information from RockPick and others about them.

Sure... they're just wiper blades. How much better can they be right? I'm telling you. They are better. I can't prove it but, I can tell you that every single person that has put them on has been nothing short of thrilled with them. They're awesome.

Done deal. Order went in this morning. As with most things of this nature, I bought a pair for the wife's car first (my test guinea pig). We'll see how well they work there before they go on my truck. Thanks for the info guys.

I have to say these things REALLY work at keeping the rain away.
ALL week NO rain. They had predicted rain and thunderstorms on Wed. pulled my truck out, no rain, then again they predicted rain and/or thunderstorms for Thur. pulled truck out NO rain, and today and this evening they predicted rain and/or thunderstorms, pulled the truck out and NO freaking rain.
These things are almost as good as, well you know...
