There will be absolutely NO singing about the Beverly Hillbillies... especially with Buddy having died today.

Question

What's the "life expectancy" for these blades? On past vehicles, buying plain-jane blades, I would change them out every 6 months or so. These?

They have a 5 year written guarantee. So, I'd say they're planning on them lasting beyond 5 years. I've had mine for about 4 months now. They're just as good as new.

Forgive my ignorance RP, but are you/we calling the rubber portion of the wiper the blade or the holder for the rubber piece the blade?

I'm speaking of the rubber (or in this case, silicone) portion of the unit that actually 'wipes' the surface.

But, when you purchase the Siliblades, you get the full assembly... the wiper and the wiper portion that connects to the arm.

Thanks RP! It just threw me that there was a "blade" out there that was guaranteed for 5 years! I have GOT to get out more!

There's the website to read about them.

Also, earlier in this thread there is a place where you can get them fairly cheap (ttstuff.com).

Everyone that has purchased them has raved about them.

Best of luck

Yep, they are just the best blades on the market, in my opinion.

Go ahead and get the 22" for your truck. They will fit and work fine.

Yep, the 22" work great. I bought them on a recommendation of a few with RockPick as the main spokesmen. At this time I am very happy with them. Even the holder, frame what ever you call the part that holds the blades looks like it is excellent quality.

It's a lost cause on many things... polish is one of them.

Especially after putting two coats of #9 on my hood tonight to get rid of those pesky swirls... topped that off with 4 coats of PPP on the hood and two all the way around.

The best part... it took me about 1.5 hours... not 3 days.
