Tacky bedliner

Hello all, just a quick question before I start calling up the dealer and the dude they use for bedliners. Had one sprayed in at the dealer, bed is completely dry and hard, tailgate is tacky and soft.....is this something that sitting in the sun would help out or does it look like it's a re-do? First time i've had one put in so i'm reaching out!

They likely did the tailgate very last as they backed out of the bed, it might be cured later than the rest?

Is it better yet (seeing as you posted yesterday)?

I'd go for a redo. They should not have released the truck if it was still tacky anywhere.

When my truck was done, the installer had heat lamps to help the dry & cure. The truck sat there for awhile before they let me drive off. It should not be sticky & soft. Something went wrong.

it’s actually weeks old (just haven’t had the gate down) and still the same, somethings not right so I’ll be taking it back in!

Bad spray, not enough isocyanate. You better check the bed really good. It's possible that it started a bad spray when spraying the bed.
