Freedom by Estang ez-roll cover off e-bay

Was planning on doing this in the future, a tonneau cover was in my future and was really just looking and researching to decide how long I was gonna have to save.
While browsing around on e-bay came across this Liberty ez-roll at a decent price. Did a little researching on it and decided it fits my needs and wasn't willing to pass on the price as it was a soon ending by-it-now. Read a lot of the sellers feedback and decided to order it.

Ordered it on Saturday had it in my hands Friday afternoon. Installed it Saturday moring in about 25 mins. It is a nice cover . About middle road I would guess. It fits well and I think looks nice.
The install was pretty straight forward and for the money I believe the quailty is good. I've seen this partuicular cover retail @ $235.00-$279.00.
I got shipped for less than $140.00.He had several left when I ordered mine and the application for the 5.5' bed is spot on.
Already took about 600 mile trip with it in stalled in pretty heavy wind conditions and it performed well.

As long as you like it, that's all that matters. How water tight is it, is it lockable and do the bows fold up with it or do you have to remove them?

Personally, the only thing I'm not a fan of with the lower / middle range tonneaus is their covered wagon look. Somehow, I was lucky enough to get the Truxedo Lo Pro new for only $150 even though it normally sells for over $400.

2008 XL: It is not lockable, and the bows do not roll up with the cover. I just put mine on the other day. I do agree with you about the profile, but I couldn't resist for $100 shipped. That is awesome you found the lo-pro for $150. Where did you get it?

I got it off Craigslist. Apparently the guy had no clue what they sell for! If it doesn't clamp down with a latch in the back, how does the EZ-Roll stay down on the tailgate? Does it use Velcro?

It has an endrail across the tailgate and latches into the siderail end caps.

Yeah and to make matters worse, I had some kind of paypal coupon (something new?) which got my out of pocket down to $101.20. Were going to Disney for the week of Mardi Gras this coming Saturday so I hope to have it on by then to cover the luggage from the elements.
Thanks for the tip!

I ordered mine on Sat. or Sunday can't remeber, UPS had it to my door by the following Friday(Tony had e-mailed me and thought it would be here by Wed or thurs then apologized for UPS being slow). Tried to install it Friday nite in the dark and a pretty good wind. Basically over read the instructions and was trying to get way to it perfect(e-mail me for my cell and I'll explain my mistakes if you like). Waited till Saturday morning and sunup had it installed and on my way to San marcos in less than 30 minutes.

The seller I bought my cover from used my pics from this thread in his new e-bay ad. Kinda cool seeing your ride on e-bay and not even for sale.
