Painted a/c *****, easy!

I recently painted my a/c *****. This is real easy to do, and looks great. I just pulled them off, popped the indicators out, and painted them silver. The indicators got the white sanded off, painted with red clear, and popped them back in. I was done in less than an hour including the clear on the silver part. The coolest part is that the indicators glow like jewels at night. What do you guys think?,,,,,98

Now that's a customization if I ever saw one. Very unique. And very cool. I would have never thought of doing that. Nice job 98.

Thanks Harley!

These are stand-ins until I get the billet MGW pieces. My whole dash is about to change soon. Going metallic charcoal for the door switch plates, and the area around the steering wheel and radio. Then Nuimage platinum gauges and a/c panel. Can't wait to get this started,,,,98

Thumbs up

Thanks guys. Yeah, I was a little surprised at how bright the EQ buttons were when I hooked it up. They are BRIGHT in the daytime, but they'll ruin your night vision if you look at them too long at night, LOL!,,,,98

Man that looks awesome!!!! Where do you get red clear paint?? And do they have other colors?? My Alpine radio has blue lighting, so I would love to match it.

I think you can get transparent paint at wal-mart near the hobby section.
