98...what kind of finish are the ***** once they are done? is it shiny/smooth cause of the clearcoat? or what? and may i ask why is it that you are replacing them with the chrome ones? i think these look really sweet, and if i were you i wouldn't put out the xtra money on ones that will look pretty much the same...just my .02 and i wanted to ask you...do you think it would adhere well to the seat levers? thanks!!

I think it would look sweet to paint your ***** the same color as the lower body of the KR!! A bodyshop probably wouldn't charge you more than $30 to do it. Then you could paint your dash the upper body color,,,,98
The finish is kind of semi-gloss. Not dull, but not shiny either. It feels no different than the factory surface, really.
And this is why I'm going to get the chrome ones!

This mod looks great 98!
I knew the minute I saw your pics I had to copy. I did so today I'm just waiting for the clear to dry now. I did the headlight switch **** as well. It was a little trickier and requires masking the position indicator I just painted over the illumination symbol. I used transparent blue to match my head unit. I can't wait to re-install them.
Thanks for the idea!

My headlight **** has no light up indicator on it, does yours?? Maybe I'm mistaken, or the light is burnt out? I'm buying a bumper cover next Tuesday, so the a/c ***** will have to wait just a little longer. Priorities, you know
Here's very photoshop of what my truck will end up looking like....

wel...here they are
I painted mine...I thought they'd be darker but they look the same as 98's. I just acetoned the indicators so they will be green when they light up...I don't have a night time pic yet. Plus, Stupid me.....I tried this a couple of times and when I didn't like it, I just acetoned the paint off....well one time I decided to soak the **** in the acetone...It kind of melted. The middle **** is a little messed up. I'll probably buy a new one.
Just got back from Wally World - if you go in the arts and crafts area (man that felt funny - bunch of old ladies waddling around), they have what they call stained glass paint - whole bunch of different colors - found an electric blue I am going to try and use to match my Alpine radio.
Oh, Walmart also carries Duplicolor in the auto department.
