What to add to "spiff" up my truck

So, Im planning on leveling my truck to make it look better. The truck is a 2011 F150 XLT Ingot Silver. I have seen people add fender flares but none are silver. What would yall recommend. I trying to stay under $600. I want new wheels but those are $1000 . So what would yall add. Would add a pic but it wont work.

Tonneau cover or tool box. For thirty dollars a Dee Zee Tailgate Assist is awesome. The list goes on and on. Good luck and enjoy the ride...

Hmmm. Never thought about a tint. Can you get in trouble for that. A friend got pulled over for it. I have thought about adding "halo" lights.

I thought about the cover but we move pine straw alot and big items so it wouldnt be used much. Tool box would be used at all. I got all my tools in the Garage.

Definitely do the level, but I wouldn't add flares. IMO, flares look really awkward on non-lifted trucks and having then painted would eat up your entire budget, and likely go over. You CAN get ticketed and/or pulled over for tint. Last Friday, I had 5% tint put on my front windows and over top of my existing factory tint and it's too damn dark haha. I only did it because 90% of the time I'm driving, my widows are down. That and I'm prone to getting migraines, so I'll use that as an excuse.

LED lighting would cost roughly $100 and goes a long way in "crisping" up a truck. You could maybe add a large decal to your rear window, if you have anything you'd like to promote.

I'm not sure about the 09+ lights (do you mean headlights?), but you could do so on the 04-08's with the headlights and taillights. I agree that that looks good and can be done very inexpensively.

How about a cold air intake? It will give you instant horsepower and increased mpg's. You can usually get them pretty cheap. How about a Raptor double exhaust tip? Raptor/FX4 style headlights with the black housing look great on silver. Billet or black mesh grilles from T-Rex look great on silver as well.

I would save the 600.00 bucks until you save the additional 400.00 to get the wheels. The single biggest change you can make appearance wise is rims.

Is the level part of the $600?

I'll second the Weathertech Floor Mats and DeeZee Tailgate Assist.

Programmer. I bought an Edge.
Bedliner. Line-X or BedRug gets my vote.
Window Tint?

I actually agree with this as well. Wheels shift the look of the entire truck. I know it's harder to save up for the big things like wheels, but after you get them, it's easier to save up and do the little things one at a time. Wheels are well worth the money when total "change per dollar" is considered.

save up for wheels and tires. DO NOT PUT A COLD AIR INTAKE ON YOUR TRUCK.

Level, smoked the tailamps, and exterior Leds. Surely you'll have some money leftover for a tuner. Id do a 3" block in the back, and a nice exhaust tip

Wow. I guess i got a few responses while I slept. Just called Ford to get a price on the level kit install. They want $320... I dont wanna pay that but if i want to level the truck thats the only way. I got a Certified Pre owned warranty and if I do it myself it voids that. So i may not level it.

I have been reading about those smoked lenses. Is it Illegal? Some say yes and some say no.

If I dont level the truck i will probably replace the lights. What wheel brands do yall like? I want some black wheels.

Fuel and BMF wheels look badass (black and machined) and I would have gotten those had I not purchased other wheels earlier. They are on the more expensive end. There are a ton of different brands that look good though. 17 and 18" black wheels can be had for like $800 or so. A buddy of mine bought 17" ones for $550, but I can't speak for the quality of them.

Leveling your truck will not void a warranty. It *may* void the front end suspension warranty though, but it's not something I'd be concerned with. Is that $320 just in labor or does it include the price of the level as well? Either way, it's not that bad, but another shop would likely do it for less.

If you replaced your taillights, getting ones like the Harley's have would not be illegal. If you smoked your stock ones, it can be illegal depending on how it's done. In Texas, leaving the "white"/chrome portion unsmoked is legal.
