I have a 05 Red FX4. I am going to order the 09+ FX4 badges on ebay. Do you guys think I should get the Red FX4 badges or should I get the Black FX4 badges? I thought it might be too much red on the truck, even though they have the black outline on them. Let me know what you guys think. I put up the two ebay links.

Order from TascaParts.com directly..the pricing will be quite comparable. These are the numbers you need for the FX4:

If you order them from eBay, you will get the wrong tailgate badge ! The above badge is flat which is the one you need. The ones on eBay have a clip which will not fit anything below the 09's

 

If it was me, I would rather have the red/black badges. I believe those are 2 piece badges, whereas the chrome ones are 1 piece. If so, and you don't like the color combination, just pull them off paint, and throw them back on.

 

Don't think they are two piece badges...if he gets the red set the tabs will have to be cut or ground off of the tailgate badge. You could call Tasca and ask about the two piece badges, the ones I got were not two piece.

Saw that thread before....then I looked at the ones I have, guess it could be done.....He could give it a shot. He would still have to whack the tabs off of the tailgate badge. Would be a good idea to have some 3M two sided tape on hand.

 

True! It will look good with either badge I think. I second the 3M tape suggestion.

 

Definitely grab the FX appearance pkg black & red emblems.

 

I think I will be calling Tasca tomorrow to order the Red/Black badges. I think they will look good. I never knew they were two separate pieces though.
