Billet Grilles
Billet Grilles
Hey Guys, Looking for a good Billet grille to go on the 07 Xlt. I have the chrome bumber and Chrome around the Honeycomb grille on it now. Wish it was all black but...meh. Ive done research on them and found some but nothing for sure. Im looking for a Grill with very little spacing between the metal pieces.
Also i dont know if a "bolt on" one from SES would be just fine or to go another route. Anyone with a Billet already on hey, feel free to help me out.
Thanks

The only Billet grills I would want personally upon fit/finish, and style, would be the OEM Lariat chrome pkg grill, and the OEM Harley Davidson edition grill. Unfortunately the costs of each are crazy high. for each, $300 or so for the Lariat grill, and I paid $578 for my Harley edition grill. But both look so much better than aftermarket aluminum billets.

Roush grilles work too if you can actually find one.
Lariat chrome package grille? With that tiny emblem? Roush is far superior grille and retains the full size emblem or if you don't want an emblem like me you have a choice not to use one.
Harley grilles only look good on black trucks IMO. Don't believe either are billet.

Street Scene has a pretty good one also in aluminum. Comes in satin aluminum, black powder coat, black chrome and polished stainless steel.

Yea that Roush Grill looks great, also saw the Saleen. Looks good to, Just had my Grill Accent and Front Bumper Done with Vehicle Wrap PTM black. Picks up when i take em. Now all i have to do is try to find a Roush or a saleen. Black is what im looking for.
And for the people throwing the term billet around, "billet grille" refers to the material the grille is made out of, billet aluminum. A plastic grille that has lots of horizontal bars is not a billet grille, though they resemble each other.
The chrome package/fx2 look identical to the Roush to me, with the exception of the emblem being optional with the Roush. Is there another difference?

And yeah, only the carriage works grille and street scene mentioned above are aluminum. Rest are plastic and I don't know why they were recommended
.
Chrome package grilles use a small emblem not the 9x3 and the bars are cut around the emblem not giving you the option to use it without an emblem.

.Chrome package/FX2: You're stuck with the emblem
Roush: You can opt to have the emblem or not.
That said, anyone know where you can get a Roush grille anymore? I wish I hadn't cut up my original one.
