Painting fog light surround?

Has anyone ever painted the black surround around the fog lights for 2006-2008 trucks? I have a two tone truck and I'm wondering how it would look to have the surrounds painted white and keep the bumper gold. Thoughts?

Yeah, PTM would probably look better I was just wanting to get some opinions on if the contrast would look good or not.

I was going to do it on mine PTM black but I have 6000k HIDs in mine so I assumed it would enhance glare.

So did I...

Kinda hard to tell, but after I took it back to the shop assembled, painter and the guy in the office loved the bit of contrast it offered. At one point they were painted pueblo gold but I didn't like it. Prime them white paint and install them back. If you like it buy the white paint. If not buy the beige paint
