hey guys i have the lightning headlights from headlightdepot, and the corners are filled with moisture. whats the best thing to do to get rid of the moisture and keep it out? thanks

 

buy new ones, open them up, seal them with silicone. How long have you head them? Ive had mine for over a year and Ive had 0 issues. You could also contact the company. Maybe they will send you new ones if they cover them with a warrantee.

 

Put the stock corners back in for a couple days, oven heat the aftermarket L corners and pull the lenses, clean existing old sealant from the lip and re-seal with RVT sealant. 24hrs to dry, reinstall on a cold day to prevent any further moisture air to enter.

May as well do the same to the headlamps too.

 

leave the bulb out in a room for a couple hours under a lamp, boil off the moisture then seal them up with a bead of silicone outside the existing seal.

or buy OEM and dont have issues like this

 

damn now i gotta take them back off haha. im gonna call them monday and see what they say. when i ordered they said i shouldnt need to seal them

 

Visteons use permaseal so you cant open them for retrofit

They're just going to say you didnt put the bulb in right or something. Just take them out and apply some direct sunlight for a few hours with the backs open so it dries out and lightly bead the edge with some bathroom grade silicone.
