Not sure if anyone asked this but anyways.. Were your bumpers chrome or painted when you did this? I'm thinking about doing mine but I'm not sure because mine are chrome.

They where chrome.....rough'em up put self etching primer on then shoot them with the bed liner. And of course you can PTM them as well like I ended up doing

And the PTM is holding up great.....

Why go through all that trouble? Just put some newspaper around it.

Some really nice work in this thread. A great alternative to paying premium for a Line-X dealer.

Has anyone tried the Duplicolor version of this stuff? I went to get the Rustoleum version and the Duplicolor is all they had so I'm going to try it on my fourwheeler.

The duplicolor Bed liner is not good at all. Get the Rustoleum at autozone or walmart.

x2 Duplicolor blows. I used it to spray tie down hooks for my stake pockets and it flaked off in less than a month after using bungee cords on them, it doesn't have any hardness/durability to it at all.
