I put a couple of coats on my stock plastic fender flares yesterday, no clearcoat, how long should i wait to put them back on the truck? I just don't want them to chip.

Did this to my flares a few days ago, and just put them back on the truck today. This is 2 coats of bedliner, and 2 coats of clear.

I like! What kind of prep did you do? Did you use it on your rims as well? Nice looking truck!!

One more question, I heard this stuff hates wax... I didnt clear coat my emblems, will spray wax from car wash mess them up????

I had painted my fenders once before, so I scuffed them up with some 320, wiped them down with some grease and wax remover, then went at it. The rims are powdercoated, have had them for 2 years and they have held up awesome. Thanks. As far as the wax goes, I really dont know if it will mess up the emblems.

Spray on car wash wax is not the same a paste wax. I've went threw several automated car washes with mine (before and after painting over the stuff) with no problem.

Thanks for all the great ideas, I have a lot of projects ahead. The sight of chrome just annoys me lately , and I have a lot of it.
