Black Head/Tail Light covers

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy some of those black plastic/acrylic snap-on covers for heads and tails but im not sure which brand is the best. I'm looking for highly durable and best for the money. Just some that will last a long time. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Go with AVS or GTS. Both under $70 a set. Be careful doing the headlights you will not get very much light from them at night. You can also go with lamin-x tint that is very good as well.

Agreed....the covers are a pain in the butt and you will have to take the headlight ones off at dark to see anything on the road....HID or not.

I also about rear ended a guy a few months back because his tails were so dark that i couldn't see his break lights go on

You could also go with the XPEL headlight and foglight covers. They don't totally black out your headlights, but you'll have more of a smoked look and they look good... plus you can still see the road at night.

I have GTS blackout tails and I love them. They Stick on with high strength Velcro and (maybe it's just my truck) but I get plenty of light out of them. They glow a deep red when my breaks are applied. I've gotten tons of compliments a d I personally think they look great! I wouldn't recommend blacking out the headlights because of the decrease of light that shines through. Either go with lightly tinted heads or get the insides of them painted black.

if you practice a little, nightshade looks really really good. if you can be easy with your trigger finger and not get carried away. and a can doesn't cost 70 something bucks. i get tons of compliments on mine, an all my buddies want me to tint theirs.

I hd the AVS tails on for about a yr. Then finally did the niteshade thing and wish I did it sooner. Andlike everyone else has said the covers on the heads will need to come off at night for sure.

Hey guys thanks for all the input. I ended up ordering AVS covers for heads and tails. For the headlights i couldnt be happier; they look great and dont hinder my light too much. My green fogs help a lot haha. The tails were garbage. One of the covers had much thinner adhesive on it but I stupidly ignored it and put them on. A few days later, it was raining and the one with the thin adhesive popped off and was crushed by an 18-wheeler. Do not buy the tail light covers. I need a new idea now.

i had avs heads and tails and the tails were perfect. very visable light coming out.

the headlights, while they fit perfectly, make it very hard to see at night.
