so i i've ordered 5 kits through www.hidextra.com so a repeat customer. my first order was for 9006 12k h1 8k and 9145 12k and the the 9006 and 89145 kit didnt match very good but ohwell and the h1 kits balalst were bad, but had a week of down time waiting on ballast. then recently i ordered a h11 12k for my gf's g6, get em installed and there two different colors and look nothing like my 12k fogs but they did send me replacements which it has been over a week and i have still not recieved them. my most recent purchase was for h13 hi/lo 12k kit and the h13 plug did not fit so i had to cut the wires and hard wire it. got it all hooked up and 5 fuses later it still didnt work on the driver side and on top of that they look deep blue instead of a ultra violet purpleish/blue like my fogs so thats even more down time and another bad kit. i called them and they can either send replacements if i destroy my old kits, which it would take over a week to get replacements which probably wouldnt work anyways, or send them back and get a refund but heres the catch, they take a 25% restocking fee even though the kits were no good! so on my last two kits it totaled $120 dollars, so take that minus 25% and id still be without lights. i begged for ways around this but the lady just kept reading from the script and was no help at all!! so please do not order from these people as they will send you junk and then not help you out unless you want to be without your lights for even longer. i'll probably keep trying to make these work or just throw them away and go with retro-solutions which is what i should have done in the begging. so please do not order from these people!!!

You run the risk of varying colors when you order chinese HIDs. Like I said before, the same factory makes all these bulbs for all these companies. They dont have SAE or DOT regulations, they just throw them together and sell them to the companies you buy from. If you want to buy a GOOD kit, find Bosh, Phillips, or McCullough kit.

 

Well heck I figured these would be decent and the price wasn't bad. My fogs are perfect as far as operating. But oh well, live and learn. I'll prolly just stash some money away and do a ugly retro fit haha

They are quality German HID lights. I got my current lights from them. No issues at all.

 

Seem to be skimping around the rules a bit. They list all their products as DOT approved but further reading the find print they are quick to point the finger somewhere else.
