continue the led thread...
i think the other one died but i had a question that no one answered so here it is, could i use the led bulbs in my 3rd brake light, tail reverse lights, dome and interior lights?

There are numerous threads detailing the led conversion. There is one that gives the exact bulb # for dome, map etc. I'm on my phone so can't provide a link. Just search and you should find what your looking for.

I have a factory 3rd brake light converted with LED strip for sale in the classifieds.

thats what i wanna do to all my interior lights. also, one of my lights in my 3rd blew but im not sure if its just the bulb or the wiring too so if i were to order the leds would i be able to just plug in play or should i get a whole new 3rd brake light? im refering to the clear lights that come on when you open the door not the actual brake lights that light up when you touch the brake

The white light in the third brake light is not a reversing light so swapping it out to LED's will not give u any extra light when reversing, its just a bed illumination lamp. I have a smoke led 3rd brake light (my truck is black) but the white lights are normal bulbs which works fine for me.

update so i ordered the led lights, 2 pairs of blue led (for my dome), and 4 pairs of 6k bulbs (for my plate, reverse, 3rd brake, and hood light). well the bulbs did not match even though i ordered #194 bulbs. however the blue bulbs worked in my 3rd brake light so im gonna keep those in there and they also worked for my hood light so im keepin that one there too. now what exact bulbs do i need for:
-dome lights
-plate lights
-reverse lights
please help me out guys

Just FYI. They have been known to be wrong before though. If you still have your original manual it lists the exact ones you need. Less chance for error. Sylvania is normally pretty good though.
